Tata Motors is all set to launch its micro SUV Tata Punch in Nepal. According to Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata vehicles in Nepal, the Tata Punch will be first showcased in Nepal at the 2022 NADA Auto Show. Tata Punch retains the majority of the elements from the HBX concept which was launched back in 2020. The design of the Tata Punch is muscular, modern, altogether desirable, and very SUV. The Punch is a five-seater micro SUV and will sit below the Tata Nexon SUV.
The Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated, Revotron petrol engine that produces 84 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. It is coupled with a standard 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT. The micro SUV comes with a 7-inch touchscreen system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, auto AC, automatic headlights, connected car tech (Creative i-RA pack), and cruise control. In terms of safety, the new micro SUV gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking camera.
The Tata Punch is available in four variants: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. The Kaziranga edition is exclusive to the top trim. The Tata Punch is available in seven colors including Orcus White, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Atomic Orange, Meteor Bronze, Tornado Blue, and Calypso Red. We expect the Tata Punch price in Nepal to start just under the NRs. 30 lakhs mark. Tata Punch will rival the likes of the Ford Freestyle, Mahindra KUV100, and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis. It will also rival entry-level compact SUVs like the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. Here are the complete specifications and features of the Tata Punch Micro SUV:
