Kaiyi Auto, a Chinese car manufacturer and a pioneer in electric vehicle (EV) innovation is set to launch its highly anticipated X3 Pro electric vehicle in Nepal. The debut of the X3 Pro EV in the Nepalese market is scheduled for July 2024. The X3 Pro EV is the electric version of the compact crossover model, the X3 Pro. The X3 Pro EV is not just another electric vehicle; it represents a culmination of cutting-edge technology, sleek design, and unparalleled performance. 

The X3 Pro EV  promises to redefine the driving experience for Nepalese consumers by boasting an impressive range and rapid charging capabilities. It is equipped with CATL’s 53.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that delivers 120 kW of power and 280 Nm of torque. It offers an impressive range of 401 kilometres, as per the NEDC cycle, with a charging time of 5-7 hours to fully recharge the battery. Additionally, it is equipped with fast charging capabilities for added convenience.

Beyond its performance and eco-friendly credentials, the X3 Pro EV has a sleek design and modern features. It comes loaded with premium features, including all-LED lighting, a spacious 10.25-inch infotainment screen compatible with smartphones, a 7-inch LCD instrument panel, an electric sunroof, dual-zone AC for personalised comfort, convenient wireless charging, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and a host of other amenities designed to enhance your driving experience.

The X3 Pro EV represents the pinnacle of safety in electric vehicles. It boasts essential safety features like four airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Additionally, it's equipped with advanced safety functions including Hill Hold Assist, Hill Descent Control, Cruise control, ABS with EBD, and a Traction Control System (TCS). It also employs cutting-edge battery technology and rigorous safety protocols to ensure that its lithium-ion battery pack is secure and reliable in all conditions.

The X3 Pro EV's dimensions are as follows: it spans 4400mm in length, 1831mm in width, and 1653mm in height, with a wheelbase measuring 2632mm. With a ground clearance of 158 mm and a kerb weight of 1321 kg, it strikes a balance between agility and stability. Furthermore, its capacious boot offers 550 litres of storage space, ensuring ample room for cargo. It features a MacPherson independent suspension at the front and a multi-link independent suspension at the rear.

LRR Group, the authorized distributor of Kaiyi Auto in Nepal, is gearing up to launch its first-ever electric vehicle in the Nepalese market by July 2024.
