BYD, a brand synonymous with innovation in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, is set to electrify the Nepalese market again with its upcoming electric vehicle the BYD Atto 3 Cosmos Black Edition. This stunning variant of the popular BYD Atto 3 is not just a new colour option; it’s a statement of sophistication, performance, and cutting-edge technology. Cimex Inc., the exclusive authorized distributor for BYD Auto in Nepal, is set to launch the BYD Atto 3 Cosmos Black Edition in the coming days. However, specific details about the launch and pricing have yet to be confirmed.

The BYD Atto 3 has already established itself as a formidable contender in the Nepalese market, but the Cosmos Black Edition takes it a notch higher. This new variant is all about style, with its striking Cosmos Black exterior exuding an aura of sophistication and mystery. The 2024 BYD Atto 3 Cosmos Black Edition boasts a bold new Cosmos Black exterior, highlighted by black D-pillar and window trims. Inside, the edition presents a refined dark blue and black interior, packed with cutting-edge features.

Beyond its stunning aesthetics, the BYD Atto 3 Cosmos Black Edition retains all the impressive performance features that have made the Atto 3 a popular choice. Although the technical details for Nepal haven't been shared yet, the Indian version of the BYD Atto 3 comes with two battery options including 49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh, offering a NEDC-claimed range of 410 km and 480 km, respectively.  It is also equipped with 80kW DC fast charging that can charge 30-80% SOC in 30 minutes. 

The Cosmos Black Edition is expected to include exclusive features that set it apart from other variants. It is packed with top-tier features, including LED headlamps, 18-inch alloys, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated electric side mirrors, a wireless phone charging pad, multi-colour ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and ventilated front seats for added comfort and convenience.

The Cosmos Black Edition is equipped with BYD’s latest safety technology, ensuring a seamless and efficient driving experience. The safety features include seven airbags, ESP, hill descent control, a 360-degree camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Atto 3 will come with all the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features of the international models. It also features a rearview camera and parking sensors, ensuring you remain fully aware of your surroundings.
