Build Your Dreams (BYD) Co. Ltd. has officially launched a new variant of the electric SUV Atto 3 in Nepal. Cimex, the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has launched the electric SUV Atto 3 in two variant options: Standard and Extended. And, it is currently open for bookings in Nepal. The Atto 3 is a rebadged Yuan Plus electric crossover manufactured by China EV giant BYD. It is a small but mighty electric vehicle that packs a big punch. This compact car is the perfect solution for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint without sacrificing style, comfort or performance.

BYD Atto 3 is based on the new BYD e-Platform 3.0. It is equipped with two battery options that feature the brand’s new patented Blade Battery Technology. The Standard Range supports a 49.92 kWh blade battery that offers a range of 320 km, while the Extended Range supports a 60.48 kWh blade battery that offers a range of 420 km. It comes in two Motor configurations - 100kW for Standard and 150kW for Extended. Both the 100kW and 150kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) generate a max power of 204 PS and a max torque of 310 Nm. It is also equipped with 80kW DC fast charging that can charge 30-80% SOC in 30 minutes. The new electric car can reach 100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds.

But it's not just the Atto 3's performance that's impressive. This car is also packed with features that make driving a breeze.  It is equipped with LED headlamps, 18-inch alloys, a panoramic sunroof, power front seats, a digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen, an electric tailgate, and ambient lighting. It also comes with safety features including seven airbags, ESP, hill descent control, a 360-degree camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Atto 3 will come with all the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features of the international models. It also comes equipped with a rearview camera and parking sensors, which help you stay aware of your surroundings.

BYD Atto 3 gets three riding modes. It comes with four colour options - Grey, Red, White, and Blue.  The BYD Atto 3 will compete against the likes of the MG ZS EV, Nexon EV Max, and the Kona Electric.
