Ducati To Launch 12 New Motorcycles This Year

Ducati has been producing sport-inspired motorcycles since 1946. Ducati is planning to launch 12 new motorcycles this year across certain Asian markets but we are not yet sure how many of them will make it to Nepal. Well, the list includes both updated models and all-new offerings. Some of the new bikes were supposed to be launched in 2020 but launches were delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. While Ducati has not disclosed an exact timeline yet. Ducati has a plant in Thailand, which opened in 2011 and assembles motorcycles for the Asian market.

Last year, Ducati launched three BS6 new motorcycles, by introducing new models like Panigale V2, Scrambler 1100 Pro, and the Multistrada 950S. The company has bigger plans for 2021 which will see the entry of various new motorcycles across the all segments. The Italian company will start by launching the 2021 Scrambler icon that has been updated to BS6 standards. The Monster, Scrambler, Panigale, Multistrada, Diavel, and the much-awaited Streetfighter series are set for mid 2021.

In the first quarter of 2021, Ducati plans to launch the new BS6 Scrambler, Diavel and xDiavel. This will be followed by the launch of new motorcycles based on the V4 engine platform. The company will launch Multistrada V4, the Streetfighter V4, and MY2021 Panigale V4 based on the V4 engine. Ducati will boost this segment with its new products, the Monster, followed by the Supersport 950 and the Hypermotard RVE 950.

In the statement, the MD of Ducati, Bipin Chandra said, “2020 has been an unforeseeable force across the globe with operations coming to a standstill. The majority of the company’s launches and plans were pushed to 2021 and this year is going to be exciting for the company, with new launches planned in every quarter”.
