Bajaj Auto is working on expanding the Pulsar platform for the Nepalese market. Bajaj Auto is developing a new 250cc motorcycle which will be launched in Nepal by late 2021. The company has already built motorcycles with KTM-derived engines like NS 200 and RS 200 twins as well as the Dominar 400. So, we can expect the upcoming Pulsar 250 to follow the same trail. According to the various report, the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will be the successor to the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. 

The report claims that the new motorcycle will have an all-new design, new powertrain and features. The bike power will be a brand new engine that will be based on the KTM 250 Duke engine. Hence, from producing 30PS and 24Nm, the motor is likely to produce 28PS and 23Nm  The Bajaj Pulsar 250 will also get double disc brake with dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle will get Triple Spark as well as DTS-i technology that Bajaj’s sporty motorcycles are very well known for.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 250 is likely to feature all-LED lighting system. Bajaj will also equip the new Pulsar 250 with goodies like slipper clutch, a digital instrument cluster  and TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The motorcycle may also features some of the panels and parts with the existing Pulsar NS 200 bike, starting with the rear tyre hugger and alloy wheels. The transmission of new bike could be a six-speed unit while the cycle parts include telescopic forks at the front, and mono-shock at the back.

The Bajaj Pulsar 250 is expected to be launched during the festive season, before Dashain in the Nepalese market. Hence, expect it to be priced somewhere around the NRs. 5 lakhs. Once launched in Nepal, the new motorcycle will compete against the likes of Yamaha FZ25 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250. As the spy images hint, the upcoming Pulsar 250 will boast an all-new design that won't be an extension of any of the current models.
