Bajaj’s Pulsar range is one of the most popular bikes in Nepal. The Pulsar 180 version has been around here for a very long time and over the years, it has undergone various changes. According to the various reports, the semi-faired Pulsar 180F has been replaced by this new Pulsar 180. The 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 has started arriving at dealerships and its bookings have already been commenced across some Asian markets. The bike is also set to make a way towards the Nepalese market by next month.
Powering the bike is the 178.6cc engine featuring DTS-i technology as well as a single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces peak output figures of 17hp at 8,500rpm and 14.2Nm at 6,500rpm – 0.2hp and 0.3Nm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj Pulsar 180 measures around 2035mm long, 765mm wide, 1115mm high. The Pulsar 180 weighs 145kg – nearly 10kg lighter than the 180F. The bike is also available with a 15-liter large fuel tank.
Braking power comes from a 260mm disc brake in front and a 230mm disc unit at the back while single-channel ABS comes as standard. The Pulsar 180 DTS-I is equipped with a host of features including a clip-on handlebar, engine kill switch, electric start, functional rearview mirrors, large instrument console, fuel gauge, headlamps with twin pilot lamps, larger front tire, split seat, tank scoops, increased wheelbase and so on.
The 2021 Pulsar 180 is available in two colors for now– Laser Black and Nuclear Blue. Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. Pvt. Ltd is the only authorized Bajaj motorcycle dealer in Nepal that is looking forward to bring new Pulsar 180 to the Nepalese market. The 2021 Pulsar 180 is set to enter the Nepalese market by next month. Once launched in Nepal, Pulsar 180 DTS-I will lock horns with competitors such as TVS Apache RTR 180, Honda Hornet 2.0. and Yamaha R15 among others.
