Tata Motors has recently launched the long-range version of the Nexon EV, christened as the Nexon EV Max. Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Tata vehicles in Nepal, has launched Nexon EV Max in Nepal only in a single variant XZ+ LUX. The physical appearance of the Nexon EV Max will remain mostly unchanged from the standard model. However, there will be a notable inclusion of a 'Max' emblem on the electric vehicle. This new Nexon EV Max electric SUV combines power, range, and advanced features to redefine the electric driving experience. The Nexon EV Max will be sold alongside the standard version in the Nepalese market.
Tata Nexon EV is powered by a 95kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that can generate a max power of 129 PS and a max torque of 250 Nm. The new EV is equipped with a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack delivering an ARAI-certified range of 453 km (under standard testing conditions). However, the standard Nexon EV offers a range of 312 km on a single charge. The Nexon EV Max is available with options of a 3.3 kW charger or a 7.2 kW AC fast charger. The 7.2 kW AC fast charger can be installed either at home or at work which helps reduce the charging time to 6.5 hours. It also supports a faster charging time of 0-80 per cent in just 56 mins from any 50 kW DC fast charger.
The Tata Nexon EV Max embodies the perfect blend of elegance and modernity when it comes to electric SUVs. It comes with new features including updated alloy wheels, disc brakes on all four wheels, cruise control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), an air purifier, ventilated seats, park mode, and auto-dimming mirrors. It also features an electric sunroof, leather upholstery, automatic rain-sensing wiper, and auto headlamps with ambient. The electric car is also equipped with a 7-inch dashtop touchscreen infotainment system made by Harman. The navigation is based on a smartphone including the option of video playback, voice command, and other features.
The Tata Nexon EV Max price in Nepal is NRs. 46,49,000. It comes in 3 colour options including Intensi-Teal, Daytona Grey and Pristine White. The new Nexon EV Max will sit at the top of the Nexon EV line-up in Nepal. The new electric car also gets selectable regeneration modes.
