The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been officially launched in Nepal. CG Motocorp, the sole authorized distributor for Suzuki cars in Nepal has confirmed the arrival of the new Celerio in Nepal. The new Celerio is available in three variants – Vxi, Zxi, and Zxi+. The upcoming Maruti Celerio is claimed to be one of Nepal's most fuel-efficient petrol cars. The bookings for the Maruti Suzuki Celerio in Nepal have already opened and one can book it online on the company’s official website or at their nearest showroom.

The new-gen Celerio is powered by the new K10C DualJet 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with an idle start/stop system that is tuned to generate 66 bhp and 89 Nm of peak torque making it 1hp and 1Nm less powerful than the previous model. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti Suzuki claims that the new Celerio has the highest fuel efficiency figure including 26.68kpl in the VXi variant. The ZXi and ZXi+  deliver 26kpl. 

In terms of design and styling, the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio comes with a new swept-back headlamp, an aggressive front bumper with black cladding, new fog lamps, integrated turn signal lights, droplet-styled taillights, flared wheel arches, and new 15-inch Urbane black alloy wheels. The car also includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual front airbags, and steering-mounted audio controls. The new Celerio is also bigger than its previous model in terms of dimension and weight.

Maruti will be offering the Celerio in six color options including Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Solid Fire Red, Speedy Blue, and Caffeine Brown. The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio rivals the likes of the Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago, and Datsun Go in Nepal.
