Seres, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has officially initiated the delivery process for the Seres Mini EV in Nepal. MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the official distributor of Seres electric vehicles (EVs) in Nepal,  has launched its first budget-friendly electric car model in the Nepalese market. As the world grapples with climate change and the pressing need to transition to cleaner energy alternatives, the Seres Mini EV has emerged as a beacon of hope in the heart of the Himalayas. This new Mini EV is a symbol of innovation, efficiency, and environmental consciousness. The Seres Mini Electric Vehicle comes in three distinct variants: the Low Trim, the Mid Trim, and the High Trim.

The Seres Mini EV is a powerhouse packed into a compact frame. With its cutting-edge battery technology, this electric wonder offers an impressive range. The Low and Mid-Trim is powered by a 25kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that generates a max power of 34PS and a max torque of 100Nm. It is equipped with a 13.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery. With a stated range of 180 kilometres, it also impresses with its ability to recharge from 10% to 90% battery capacity in a remarkably swift 3.5 to 4 hours. This electric vehicle seamlessly accommodates both your daily commutes and weekend adventures.

Similarly, the High Trim is powered by a 30kW  Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that generates a max power of 41PS and 100Nm of max torque. It is equipped with a 16.8 kWh battery made of Lithium Iron Phosphate. Furthermore, it boasts an estimated range of 220 kilometres on a single charge, and it can recharge from 10% to 90% battery capacity in approximately 4 to 4.5 hours. All three models will come equipped with a 3.3kW built-in charger. Nevertheless, it's important to note that there won't be any provision for rapid DC charging. This electric vehicle produces zero emissions, contributing to a cleaner and healthier planet. 

Don't be fooled by its compact exterior; the Seres Mini EV is packed with cutting-edge technology. It comes equipped with a yellow-coloured projector headlight setup with a wide signature LED DRL, taillamps with faux air vents, roof rail, diamond-cut alloys, easy touch panel AC controls with a glossy finish, a new design e-shift selector, ergonomic front seats, and rich padded interiors. Seres takes safety seriously, and the Mini is no exception. It comes with advanced safety features and a robust structure. It also comes equipped with advanced features, including a modern infotainment system, driver assistance technology, and connectivity options.

The Seres Mini is specifically crafted for urban living, boasting a compact design that effortlessly manoeuvres through narrow city streets and fits snugly into tight parking spaces. In terms of its dimensions, the Seres Mini Electric Vehicle boasts a length of 3030mm, a width of 1495mm, and a height of 1640mm, with a wheelbase spanning 1960mm. It provides a ground clearance of 140mm. While it doesn't come with a conventional trunk space, its rear seats can be folded down to create storage space when required. This Mini EV is a symbol of a collective effort to drive positive change.

Seres Mini EV price in Nepal starts at NRs. 13.99 lakhs and goes up to NRs. 17.99 Lakhs.It is available in four colour options: Mint, White, Pink, and Blue. Seres Nepal provides an extensive warranty of six years or 120,000 kilometres for both the battery and the motor. It will compete against the Henrey Mincar EV in the Nepalese market.
