MV Dugar Group partners with Revolt Motors, India’s top EV bike maker
Full electric motorcycle range, including RV400 and BlazeX, launching in Nepal
First Revolt Hub opening in Kathmandu by April 2025
15 showrooms planned across major cities including Pokhara and Biratnagar
Robust service network and trained staff across all locations
MV Dugar Group, one of Nepal’s most trusted names in the auto scene, has joined hands with India’s Revolt Motors to bring a fleet of electric motorcycles to Nepal. For Revolt, this marks its second international expansion after Sri Lanka, and a strategic one at that.
MV Dugar isn’t new to the game—they’ve been around for 140+ years, with 50+ years in automotive. So this isn’t just a random distribution deal. It’s a calculated move backed by experience and deep market understanding.
The Kathmandu Revolt Hub, set to open in April 2025, will be Nepal’s EV two-wheeler focal point. Expect:
RV400 – Flagship model, solid build, known for range and performance
RV400 BRZ – A sleeker version of the RV400, upgraded design
RV1 & RV1+ – Built for daily riders, practical and nimble
RV BlazeX – Their newest high-performance electric motorcycle
Add-ons like official gear and accessories will also be up for grabs.
Revolt’s expansion plan goes beyond Kathmandu. Over the next few months, the company is rolling out 15 showrooms in key cities including:
Pokhara
Biratnagar
Chitwan
Butwal
Dharan
Nepalgunj
This wide network isn’t just about sales—it’s about access and reach.
One thing that often goes missing in EV launches: after-sales. But Revolt’s covering that ground too.
Each showroom will have a fully-equipped service station
Technicians and sales teams will get dedicated training on Revolt tech
The aim: smooth ownership, low downtime, and real local support
Nepal is already shifting toward cleaner mobility, thanks to energy policies and import regulations favouring electric over fuel. Motorcycles dominate daily transport here, so a reliable electric alternative like Revolt’s RV series is a strong fit.
This launch helps meet national sustainability targets and gives commuters a cleaner option—without sacrificing range or performance.
This partnership isn’t a gimmick. MV Dugar’s backing plus Revolt’s tech could legitimately reshape urban mobility in Nepal. With the infrastructure, product range, and support all lined up, it’s one of the most complete EV motorcycle entries we’ve seen in the country.
