Nissan Motor Company Ltd has recently unveiled an enhanced version of the Magnite compact SUV, now available in the Nepalese automotive market. Pioneer Moto Corp, the exclusive authorized distributor of Nissan Cars in Nepal, has officially introduced the Nissan Magnite featuring an Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) in the Nepalese market. The Nissan Magnite AMT will be offered in five primary variants: XL Mid, XV Upper, XV Upper Dual, XV Premium, and XV Premium Dual. This addition of the 5 AMT versions brings the total number of available Magnite configurations in the Nepali market to 16. It is available in both Turbo and non-turbo options across Manual and AMT options. With its bold design, intelligent features, and now, an automatic transmission option, the Magnite is all set to redefine the driving experience in Nepal.

The Nissan Magnite is offered with two engine options: one with a non-turbocharged configuration and the other with a turbocharger. Both variants are equipped with a 999cc petrol engine. The 1.0L non-Turbo Petrol engine generates a max power of 72PS at 6250rpm and a max torque of 96Nm at 3500rpm while the 1.0L Turbo Petrol engine generates a max power of 100PS at 5000rpm and a max torque of 160Nm at 2800-3600rpm. Both come paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The suspension system is managed by a MacPherson Strut, along with a lower transverse link and a twin-tube telescopic shock absorber. The Magnite boasts an imposing presence, thanks to its foundation on the CMF-A+ platform.

The Nissan Magnite AMT is not just another compact SUV; it's a statement of style and substance. It arrives with distinctive Nissan branding on the front grille, a Bi-Projector headlamp arrangement, eye-catching LED L-Shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), fog lamps for enhanced visibility, a roof finished in sleek black, glossy black cladding, chrome door handles, and exciting side skirts. At the rear, you'll find a wide-split signature tail lamp design that adds to its overall allure. It boasts a range of top-notch features, including generous seating space, an intuitively designed cockpit interface, abundant cargo capacity, and much more. It boasts a range of safety enhancements, including an anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, and a comprehensive airbag system.

The Nissan Magnite boasts dimensions of 3994mm in length, 1758mm in width, and a height of 1572mm, with a wheelbase measuring 2500mm. This compact SUV offers a generous ground clearance of 205mm. Its kerb weight falls within the range of 939kg to 1014kg. The vehicle comes equipped with a 40-litre fuel tank, and it delivers an estimated fuel mileage of approximately 18-20 kilometres per litre. It can accommodate up to five passengers and offers a storage capacity of approximately 336 litres. The front tire is equipped with a 195/60 R16 size and features a disc brake, while the rear tire also has a 195/60 R16 size but is equipped with a drum brake. The top Speed of Magnite is 150 Kmph in Petrol and 173 Kmph in Turbo Petrol. 

The 2023 Nissan Magnite is priced between NRs. 33.99 Lakhs and NRs. 48.84 Lakhs in Nepal. It comes in various colour options, including Black-Red, Red, Black-White, Brown, Blue-White, Silver, Black, and White. The Nissan Magnite will compete directly with the Renault Kiger in the Nepalese market.
