With the introduction of the new Jimny 5-door model, the main changes compared to the 3-door version include a longer wheelbase, an additional pair of doors, and a revamped rear section. The 5-door Jimny is powered by Maruti Suzuki’s K15B engine that generates a maximum power of 105 bhp and 134 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to either a 4-speed torque converter automatic or a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is also equipped with a Maruti’s mild-hybrid technology. It comes equipped with Suzuki's advanced AllGrip Pro 4WD system, featuring a manual transfer case and a low-range transmission. This system offers three driving modes, including '2WD-high,' '4WD-high,' and '4WD-low'.
