Komaki has launched Nepal’s first electric cruiser bike, the Ranger. The ‘Ranger’ name is inspired by the extraordinary range it can achieve and can compete with several ICE motorcycles. Komaki Ranger is the first electric cruiser motorcycle in Nepal. Unity Trading Concern, the authorized distributor of Komaki electric bikes and scooters in Nepal, has confirmed the arrival of the electric cruiser bike, the Ranger in Nepal. Now, the company has launched two new electric two-wheelers in Nepal. While one of them is an electric cruiser motorcycle, the other one is an electric scooter.
Komaki has equipped the Ranger with a 4kWh advanced lithium battery, claimed to offer around 200km on a single charge. The battery comes mated to a 4kW motor. The electric cruiser will be powered by a 5 kW (6.7 BHP) motor. According to the company, the charging time is 5-6 hours with a top speed of less than 100Kmph. As for features, Ranger gets a cruise control, a Bluetooth-equipped music system, gear modes, LED lights, storage boxes, disc brakes with CBS., alloy wheels at both ends, sprung on a telescopic fork, and dual shock absorbers.
Komaki Ranger prices in Nepal start at NRs. 4.35 Lakhs and is offered in only one variant - STD. It is offered in three colors: Deep Blue, Garnet Red, and Jet Black. The cruiser bike rivals the Revolt RV400 and the Tork Kratos which are yet to be launched in the Nepalese market.
