Jeep Automobile has officially launched its first seven-seater SUV, the Jeep Meridian in Nepal. MAW Life, the official distributor of Jeep vehicles in Nepal, has also commenced the delivery of their newly launched high-end SUV in the Nepali automotive market. On Monday, a special event took place at the Kathmandu showroom of MAW Life, where three Jeep Meridian units were officially presented to their respective owners. The Jeep Meridian SUV will exclusively be offered in the top-tier LIMITED (O) variant in the Nepalese market. Jeep has a rich history of producing vehicles that can withstand the harshest conditions, and the Meridian is no exception. It's a game-changer in SUV design, offering a harmonious blend of style, performance, and capability.
Under the hood, you'll find a powerful engine that effortlessly combines performance and efficiency. Jeep Meridian is powered by a 2.0L multijet II turbo diesel engine that generates a max power of 170PS at 3750rpm and a max torque of 350Nm at 1750-2500rpm. This engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Meridian comes with four-wheel drive and a range of off-road features, including skid plates, tow hooks, and a locking rear differential. It is also equipped with a select-terrain management system that gets you various traction modes including sand, mud, snow and auto options. The suspension duties of Meridian are covered by a McPherson Strut and Multi-Link handle. With its high ground clearance, the Meridian can navigate even the roughest trails.
Jeep has also integrated the latest technology into the Meridian. It includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning. It also includes blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, which can help drivers avoid collisions when changing lanes or backing up. These features ensure maximum safety and security for the both driver and passengers.
