Honda is keen to retain its pole position in the Nepalese scooter market and the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer knows that launching new products will help the brand in this strategy. Currently, the scooter segment is experiencing increasing demands for the premium models. In this scenario, Honda aims to roll out a new 125 cc scooter in the Nepalese market that will be christened as the Lead 125.

The Honda Lead 125 is going to be a stylish and practical 125 cc scooter that will target the urban young generation buyers of the country who likes to commute in style without compromising the practicality or value for money. Honda Lead 125 is expected to launch in Nepal sometime later this year and it could come priced at around Rs. 2 lakhs. This pricing will surely play the key role in the success of the scooter and it will certainly grab the attention of the buyers.

The Honda Lead 125 will come sporting a fluid and stylish design with a large and sharp looking headlamp sporting an integrated LED daytime running light and there will be sleek turn indicators at the center of the front cowl. The scooter will have a front storage compartment and there will be ample space at the foot-board area ensuring great riding comfort. The scooter will also boast a well cushioned and wide rider seat to give the rider and comfortable experience.

The scooter is expected to get an analogue and digital combo display console, under-seat storage compartment with USB charger and boot lamp. Also, there will be a wide and stylish LED taillight adding zing to the model. It would run on alloy wheels and the scooter is expected to be available in various attractive colour options.

The scooter is already available in a couple of international markets with a 125 cc single-cylinder engine paired with a CVT. This engine kicks out 11.33 bhp of peak power and 11.3 Nm of peak torque. For braking duty, the scooter will get a front disc brake and a rear drum unit, while there would be Honda’s Combi Braking System as well. Honda Lead 125 will throw challenges to its own sibling Honda Activa 125 alongside the rivals in the segment like Vespa 125, Suzuki Access 125. The Honda Lead 125 is expected to return around 50 kmpl of mileage.

In terms of performance, the 125 cc scooter will not only ensure a great commuting in and around the city. It will also offer to ride pleasure to the riders. Honda Lead 125 will surely add the zing of the brand’s scooter lineup and it will strengthen the company’s grip in the scooter market.
