Honda, one of the most trusted names in the automotive industry, has officially launched its groundbreaking SUV - the Honda Elevate in Nepal. Sykar Trading, the authorized distributor of Honda cars in Nepal, has officially launched the all-new Honda Elevate SUV during the NADA Auto Show 2023. With its cutting-edge technology, innovative design, and exceptional performance capabilities, the Honda Elevate is set to redefine the Nepalese automobile industry. Honda has plans to introduce an all-electric variant of the Elevate SUV in the coming years.
The Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre V-TEC DOHC petrol engine that generates a max power of 119 bhp at 6600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4300 rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed Manual Transmission and a 7-speed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The suspension system employs a McPherson strut paired with a torsion beam featuring a coil spring. It comes with a 40-litre fuel tank and is expected to achieve around 18 kilometres per litre in terms of fuel efficiency. Furthermore, the Elevate offers a generous cargo area of 458 litres, featuring a convenient 60:40 split configuration. This SUV also comes with a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system.
One of the most striking features of the Honda Elevate is its adaptable design and features. It features Honda's wing-like chrome bar sitting atop the large, blacked-out grille, LED projector headlamp with integrated LED DRL and turn indicators, a contrast roof, roof rails, chrome-finished door handles and dual-tone 17-inch alloys. It also gets a 7.0-inch HD-coloured multi-information cluster which displays information such as fuel consumption, trip metres, outside temperature, G-metre, and a clock. It also comes equipped with a 10.25-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system which can wirelessly connect to various smartphones via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and USB.
Safety is a top priority for Honda, and the Elevate is packed with a suite of advanced safety features. It comes equipped with a ‘Honda Sensing’ suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These include adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation system, collision mitigation braking system, lane keep assist, lead car departure notification and auto high-beam assist. It also comes with six airbags, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, the camera-based ‘Lane-Watch’ blind spot monitor and a reverse camera. Other features include an Assistant Side View Monitor (ASVM), an Assistant Rear View Monitor (ARVM), and wireless charging.
The all-new Honda Elevate SUV price in Nepal starts at NRs. 56.35 Lakhs for the base SV MT variant and goes up to NRs. 79.44 Lakhs for the top-spec DT CVT variant. The Honda Elevate comes in a diverse range of eight variants, which include SV MT, V MT, V CVT, VX MT, VX CVT, ZX MT, ZX CVT, and DT CVT. It is available in a palette of seven different colours: Orange, Blue, Red, White, Silver, Brown, and Grey.
