The Japanese motorcycle giant, Honda, has a rich history of delivering top-notch performance bikes, and the CB 200X is no exception. Brace yourselves, as Honda is set to launch the much-anticipated Honda CB 200X in Nepal. Syakar Trading Company, the official distributor of Honda motorcycles in Nepal, is preparing to unveil the highly anticipated Honda CB 200X in the country around the middle of 2024. Initially set to make its debut at the NADA Auto Show in September 2023, the unveiling of the Honda CB 200X was unexpectedly postponed for reasons yet to be disclosed. Blending style, power, and versatility, the CB 200X calls riders to venture into unknown landscapes and savour the excitement of the open road.

Powering the CB 200X is a robust engine that strikes a balance between efficiency and performance. The CB200X gets the same engine as the Hornet 2.0. It is powered by an 184.4cc single-cylinder, BS6 engine that generates a maximum power of 17.03 bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine gets Honda's programmed fuel injection with 8 onboard sensors which constantly inject optimum fuel and air mixture for better efficiency and performance. Braking duties are covered by a 276mm disc in the front with a two-piston Nissin caliper and a 220mm disc with a single-piston caliper and an ABS as a braking standard. The motorcycle gets a USD fork up front and a monoshock at the rear.

One look at the Honda CB 200X, and it's clear that style is a top priority. The bike features a sleek and modern design that effortlessly blends sportiness with practicality. It comes equipped with full LED lighting, digital instrumentation, a start-stop switch, hazard lamps, dual-purpose tires, raised fenders, a muscular fuel tank, and a modern silhouette combined with bold, aggressive lines and rugged suspension. It also features an LCD digital instrument cluster that provides essential information at a glance. From speed and fuel level to gear position and trip information. Additionally, it boasts an elevated ground clearance, providing riders with enhanced capability on various terrains.

The Honda CB 200X is offered in a single variant, and the pricing for the Nepalese market will be revealed before its official launch. It is available with three colour options - Pearl Nightstar Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic, and Sports Red. The primary competitor to the CB200X motorcycle is the Hero Xpulse 200, available at a cost of NPR 4.03 lakhs in Nepal.
