The Nepalese market is buzzing with excitement as Henry VOLTS, a renowned name in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, officially launched its much-anticipated Model H in Nepal. S Cube Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Henrey electric vehicles in Nepal, has confirmed the launch of the VOLTS Model H in Nepal. The Model H stands out as one of the most budget-friendly electric vehicles in the Nepalese market. Previously known for offering the Henrey Mincar, the company has undergone a rebranding and is now called Henrey VOLTS.
The Model H offers an impressive driving range on a single charge, making it ideal for both city commuting and long-distance travel. It is powered by a 34 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a max power of 46 PS and a max torque of 102 Nm. It is equipped with a 16.5 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery. The vehicle boasts a maximum range of 205 kilometres and can be fully charged from 0% to 100% in 5 hours and 30 minutes using a 3.3 kW AC charger. It's important to mention that there is no option for DC fast charging.
The VOLTS Model H is a visual masterpiece with its sleek, aerodynamic design and modern features. It is equipped with a range of impressive features, including LED headlamps paired with an EV-inspired grille, integrated side indicators, LED taillamps, air conditioning, a heater, and PU leather seats. Additional conveniences include keyless entry and transmission shift control. The car also boasts a 7-inch dual-screen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, providing essential information such as battery status, distance covered, and various other metrics.
The Henrey VOLTS Model H is equipped with a variety of safety features designed to ensure maximum protection. It includes airbags, a driver-side airbag, ABS with EBD, 25-degree grade ability, and regenerative braking. Additional safety features comprise a tyre pressure monitoring system, a reverse camera with parking sensors, remote central locking, and many others. In terms of braking, it is equipped with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The suspension system is managed by a combination of McPherson independent suspension and a five-link solid axle.
The Henrey VOLTS Model H measures 3380mm in length, 1499mm in width, and 1610mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2440mm. It offers a ground clearance of 165mm and has a kerb weight of 795 kg. The vehicle can seat four people and provides a storage capacity of 100 litres. It features 155/65 R13 front tyres equipped with disc brakes and 155/65 R13 rear tyres with drum brakes. It offers a rear-wheel drive configuration and achieves a maximum speed of 100 kilometres per hour. It features sleek 13-inch alloy wheels with integrated plum blossom covers.
The Henrey VOLTS model H price in Nepal is NRs. 21.50 Lakhs. The price for the Model H is lower than that of the Henrey Mincar, which was priced at NRs. 23.50 Lakhs. Colour choices for the Model H encompass a selection of shades: Coke, Green, White, Red, and Grey. Moreover, Henrey VOLTS provides a 5-year (or 60,000 km) warranty for the battery and motor, along with a 3-year (or 45,000 km) warranty for the motor controller and charger.
