The Hyundai i10 was an instant hit in the Nepalese car market with a huge number of sales figures. True to the hype created with the success of the earlier models, it boosted up the reputation of Hyundai Motors. The Hyundai Motors is all set to launch the latest facelift version of the Hyundai Grand i10. The upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift will feature a radiator grille with ‘cascading’ design and Hyundai Motors will be introducing the same in the new versions of other models as well. The price factors can vary slightly depending upon the features offered and transmission system (manual or automatic) as available in the existing model.
The Hyundai i10 facelift exteriors will feature daytime running lights and a new design of fog lamps at the front. The rear profile styling features would be upgraded with clear lens tail lamps and dual-tone design of the rear bumper giving it a premium image. Although there won’t be major changes in the body design, the latest version would be given stylish body counters and new design alloy wheels will be featured, giving it a completely refreshing image.
The Hyundai i10 facelift interiors will be upgraded with a new set of trim finishes in beige and black combinations with improvised quality. The Hyundai Grand i10 facelift features are likely to include the latest generation infotainment system that would support Google Android Auto and Apple Carplay App. Hyundai has already introduced this in the European editions and availability in the Indian version is yet to be confirmed from the official sources.
In its petrol version, the Hyundai Grand i10 facelift specifications would feature a 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol engine with 1,197 cc and 4 cylinders delivering the power output of 83 PS/6000 rpm and torque of 114 Nm/400 rpm. The diesel version of the Hyundai i10 Grand Facelift will have a 1.1 U2 CRDi engine with a 1.120 cc 4-cylinder engine delivering power output of 71PS/4000 rpm and torque of 160 Nm/1500-2500 rpm, as featured in the current models. The 5-speed manual transmission system and 4-speed automatic transmission version would be continued in the upcoming model as well.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift mileage would be at par with the existing models at 18.9 kmpl in the petrol version and 24 kmpl in the diesel version. However, with the new design of the radiator grille, minor changes in the body panel design are expected to contribute to the improvised fuel economy. The Hyundai i10 Grand facelift will have disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The anti-lock brake system will also be available as an option. The safety system will feature dual airbags and the rear defogger, keyless entry, and day and night rear view mirror will be available for easier handling of the car.
The present generation steering system with motor driven power steering would be continued in the upcoming model. The well-proven performance would be further enhanced with improvised suspension system featuring McPherson struts at the front and torsion beam at the rear. The new alloy wheels will further improve the drive quality with better road grip and also and adds to the styling of the exteriors.The Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift would compete with the models like Maruti Suzuki Swift, Toyota Etios Live, Mahindra Verito Vibe.
