The new electric car Citroen eC3 is all set to make its debut in Nepal. Shangrila Motors, the authorized distributor of Citroen vehicles in Nepal, has announced the opening of bookings for its much-anticipated electric vehicle, the Citroen eC3 in Nepal. As of now, the Citroen eC3 electric car is exclusively open for bookings, with its official launch scheduled for August 2023. This new electric car comes with a stylish design, and advanced features, combining style and innovation. This new electric car has also emerged as a frontrunner, offering an exciting and eco-friendly driving experience.
Citroen eC3 is powered by a 42kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a max power of 57PS and a max torque of 143Nm. It is also powered by a high-energy-density lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 29.2kWh. According to ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India), the eC3 boasts an impressive claimed range of 320 km on a full charge. When using the onboard 3.3kW charger, the battery can be fully charged from 10% to 100% in approximately 10.5 hours. Furthermore, the eC3 is compatible with DC fast chargers, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 57 minutes. The suspension responsibilities are managed by the MacPherson strut and twist beam systems with regenerative braking as a standard braking unit.
Citroën eC3 comes packed with cutting-edge technology to enhance the driving experience. The exterior of the car is sleek and stylish, with a bold front grille, a split halogen headlamp with LED DRLs, and an LED tail lamp with chromed emblem. It comes equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4 speakers, a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, three USB sockets, a 12V socket, and a smartphone clamp. It also gets a matte-black front grille, glossy-black ORVMs, 15-inch steel wheels, fender-mounted turn indicators, roof antenna, and dual-tone shade as optional. The other standout feature of the Citroen C3 is its spacious and well-designed interior.
The new SUV is also equipped with a range of advanced safety features. It comes with electronic stability control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. It is also ensured by dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS, and ESP making it a safe and secure choice for Nepalese buyers. It is also equipped with a heads-up display, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. Additionally, it is equipped with advanced driver-assistance features, such as lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking. The Citroen eC3 will be available in two variants in the Nepalese market: Live and Feel with Vibe Pack. The Citroën eC3 Live variant is priced at NRs. 32.99 lakhs in Nepal, while the Feel variant with Vibe Pack is priced at NRs. 34.99 lakhs. It comes with two distinct riding modes: Eco and Standard. It comes with four colour options including White, Orange, Platinum Grey, and Steel Grey.
