The Bajaj Platina Kick Start has been officially launched where the variant joins the Platina ES (Electric Start) models in the Platina 100 range. Bajaj Auto's Platina 100 is a commuter offering that sits above the entry-level CT100 and CT110 models. The motorcycle is a basic package that is available in two variants, Kick Start and Electric Start. The motorcycle is aimed at consumers looking for a hassle-free motorcycle. The company had also made the motorcycle with Comfortec technology for a more comfortable ride. At present, Bajaj Platina Kick Start in  Nepal is yet to be launched.

The Platina 100 KS engine is a 102cc, two-valve single-cylinder engine that generates 7.9 hp at 7500 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed (all-down) gearbox.
