Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of the more accessible Dominar series motorcycle, the Dominar 250 in Nepal earlier this month. The company launched the bike in order to target a larger audience with an affordable version of Dominar. The Dominar 250 takes on the liks of Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha FZ25, KTM 250 Duke and the Husqvarna 250s in the Nepalese market.  Offered as a single variant, the Dominar 250 is available in two colour options – Canyon Red and Vine Black. The Dominar 250 in the Nepalese market comes with a price tag of NRs. 4,89,900.

The Dominar 250 gets full-LED lighting, split-style instrument cluster and muscular styling.  All the hardware specifications to 250 are similar to the Dominar 400 too. Mechanically, the motorcycle gets a 248.8 cc single-cylinder which is tuned to make a maximum power of 26.6 bhp at 8,500 rpm against a peak torque of 23.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The braking duties are taken care by 300 mm disc up front and a 230 mm disc at the rear, assisted by a dual-channel ABS. It measures 2,156 mm in length, 836 mm in width and 1,112 mm in height.
