The leading Italian bike manufacturing company –the Aprilia has come as a big surprise by launching the latest Aprilia RS 150 and the Aprilia Tuono bike series at the Auto Expo 2018. The all-new Aprilia RS 150 has made its global debut at the Auto Expo 2018 in the markets. With its unexpected release, the Aprilia RS 150 seems to be the downsized version of the classic RSV4 series and even sports the same design features.

The all-new Aprilia RS 150 receives its riding power from the powerful 150cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, BSIV-compliant, petrol engine. The engine produces a maximum power of around 18 HP at 10,000 rpm along with 14 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The bike sends riding power to the rear wheels through the 6-speed transmission gearbox.

The Aprilia RS 150 comes fitted with premium braking parts like the 40mm USD upside-down forks towards the front along with a mono-shock suspension unit at the rear end. The braking duties of the bike get handled by the 300mm disc brakes at the front along with 218mm disc brakes at the rear end. Single-channel ABS towards the front end is standard to the bike. Moreover, a quickshifter will be available as an option to the bike.

With the surprising release of the Aprilia RS 150 at the Auto Expo 2018, the manufacturer is yet to reveal the mileage specifications of the bike. The bike comes with an engine displacement of 150cc. In terms of the overall features, the Aprilia RS 150 appears equally aggressive and sharp with respect to the RSV4 counterpart. The front end of the Aprilia RS 150 flaunts the signatory Aprilia’s triple headlamp setup. This offers the bike a distinct look. The bike also receives a larger windscreen. The rear end of the bike flaunts an aluminum swingarm adding an overall sporty look to the bike. The bike receives sleek LED lights towards the rear end adding a great appeal to its overall design.

In terms of the handling, the Aprilia RS 150 receives the overall aluminum perimeter frame which offers agile handling. As such, this makes the bike well-suited for high-spirited riding. The bike also comes with a larger windscreen which aims at offering protection from the harsh winds while riding at higher speeds. Additional features of the Aprilia RS 150 that enhance the overall performance and handling specifications of the bike include clip-on handlebar, sporty step-up split seat, an LED taillight, analog-digital instrument cluster, and the sleek tail.

With its classic debut in Nepal, the bike is expected to be loved by the audience. The new-gen Aprilia RS 150 is an entry-level adventurous fully-faired motorbike from the leading Italian manufacturing company. In the Nepalese market, it will be rivaling against the likeness of models like the Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Yamaha YZF-R15 3.0.
