Kia Motors has officially launched the 2024 model of its popular Seltos SUV in Nepal. Continental Associates, the official distributor of Kia vehicles in Nepal, has formally launched the facelifted Seltos in the Nepalese market. The facelifted Seltos features a revamped exterior, an upgraded interior, and an array of new features. This latest iteration from Kia has been eagerly awaited, and it doesn't disappoint, blending style, technology, and performance in a way that sets a new standard for its class. 

Currently, the newest Seltos is only offered in the HTK+ variant with a petrol engine. More variants, including an automatic option, will be introduced later. The new Seltos is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 113 hp and 144 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. In terms of braking, it is equipped with disc brakes all around and features an anti-lock braking system (ABS) for enhanced safety and control.

One of the first things you'll notice about the 2024 Seltos is its bold, refreshed exterior. It includes a revamped front end, an updated bumper, a new skid plate, and both LED headlights and taillights, among other enhancements. The front fascia also boasts a new grille design giving it a more aggressive and modern look. Depending on the variant, the 2024 Seltos features 18-inch glossy black alloy wheels. The rear bumper is enhanced with faux skid plates and faux dual exhaust tips, adding to its stylish design.

Inside, the 2024 Seltos is a tech lover’s dream. The dashboard features a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a high-resolution touchscreen that seamlessly integrates with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Kia has also upgraded its UVO system, offering more intuitive controls and a broader range of connectivity options. For audiophiles, the available Bose premium sound system ensures your favourite tunes sound their best. It also gets ambient lighting, an automatic air conditioner, a remote engine start and a wireless smartphone charger. 

The updated Seltos is packed with numerous active and passive safety features, including six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control (ESC), Hill Assist Control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring all as standard equipment. It is also equipped with a panoramic dashboard display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control an air purifier, and more. These features work together to provide peace of mind on every journey. 

The 2024 Kia Seltos price in Nepal starts at NRs. 61.90 Lakhs. The price of the 2024 Seltos will vary depending on the variant you choose. Kia has not yet provided details about the full range of variants and their respective prices. It also gets a new colour option - Pewter Olive. The new Seltos is more than just a facelift; it's a complete package that combines style, technology, performance, and value in a way that few other compact SUVs can match.
