MG Motor has officially launched the 2022 MG ZS EV in Nepal. Paramount Motors PVT. LTD, the authorized distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal has confirmed the launch of the MG ZS electric vehicle. It now comes with some major cosmetic overhauls, a bunch of new features, and even a larger battery pack. The new electric car is available in two variants including Standard Range and Long Range. The electric vehicle also offers two upgraded battery options including a 51.1 kWh and a 72.6 kWh.

As mentioned earlier, the new EV is available in two battery pack options. The MG ZS EV powered by the 51kWh battery pack provides a range of up to 319 km on a single charge. It takes eight hours to charge via a 7kW charger, and 0-80% in 54 minutes and 36 minutes via a 50kW and 100kW charger. The ZS EV powered by the 72.6 kWh battery pack provides a range of up to 440 km on a single charge. It takes 10.5 hours to charge via a 7kW charger, and 0-80% in 1 hour 3 minutes, and 42 minutes via the 50kW and 100kW fast chargers.

The new ZS EV now comes with a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the 8.0-inch on the pre-facelift model. MG offers a host of features in the ZS EV including a 7-inch digital driver’s display, sunroof, powered driver’s seat, new climate control switches, connected car tech, and a wireless phone charger. In terms of safety, the ZS EV is equipped with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill descent control. It also includes ADAS (advanced driving assistance system).

MG ZS EV is available in 3 different colors including currant red, ferris white, and copenhagen blue. ZS EV will compete against the likes of Hyundai Kona EV, Ioniq 5 EV, and Tata Nexon EV in the Nepalese market.
