MG Motor is all set to launch the 2022 MG ZS EV in Nepal. Paramount Motors PVT. LTD, the authorized distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal has officially opened the booking for the 2022 MG ZS EV. MG Motor has also revised the price of its new electric SUV. It comes with some major cosmetic overhauls, a bunch of new features, and even a larger battery pack. The  MG ZS EV was previously available in two variants - Standard Range and Long Range but now, it will only be available in a Long Range. 

MG ZS EV is powered by a 115kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that generates a max power of 156 PS and a max torque of 280 Nm. It is equipped with a 72.6kWh Hi-Tech Battery with a claimed range of 440 Km that takes 10.5 hours to charge via a 7kW charger. It can be charged 0-80% in 1 hour and 3 minutes, and  0-80% in 42 minutes via the 50kW and 100kW fast chargers. The new ZS EV comes with a 470-liter boot space, which can be extended up to 1100 liters that has a ground clearance of 160 mm.

The new ZS EV now comes with a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is equipped with a 7-inch digital driver’s display, projector headlamp, sleek LED DRLs, sunroof, powered driver’s seat, new climate control switches, connected car tech, a wireless phone charger, and a new integrated body-colored front grille. In terms of safety, the ZS EV is equipped with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill descent control. It also includes ADAS (advanced driving assistance system).

The MG ZS EV price in Nepal is NRs. 81.99 Lakhs but previously it was available for just NRs. 59.99 Lakhs. MG ZS EV is available in 5 different color options - White, Black, Blue, Silver, and Red. ZS EV will compete against the likes of the Hyundai Kona EV, Ioniq 5 EV, and Tata Nexon EV in the Nepalese market. Here are the complete specifications and features of the 2022 MG ZS EV:
