Bajaj Auto has officially launched the much-anticipated Chetak Premium Electric Scooter. HH Bajaj, the authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, is gearing up to introduce the Chetak electric scooter in the country in the coming days. This groundbreaking two-wheeler is set to redefine urban mobility, combining cutting-edge technology with a classic design. This electric scooter also comes with the innovative TecPac package (optional), offering users the opportunity to enjoy a range of new features and enhancements.
The Chetak, a name synonymous with reliability and performance, has been a trusted companion for countless riders over the years. The Bajaj Chetak Premium Electric Scooter has undergone some modifications, with the most notable being the introduction of a new 3.2kWh battery pack. This battery is designed to provide an estimated IDC range of 127km, marking a significant improvement. With this increase in battery capacity, the charging duration has also extended, and now it will take 4 hours and 30 minutes to achieve a 0-100 percent charge. Moreover, the top speed of the e-scooter has gone up to 73kmph.
In addition to its impressive design and performance, the Chetak Premium Electric Scooter comes equipped with a range of smart features. It comes equipped with all LED lighting, self-cancelling blinkers, left and right control switches, an electronic handle lock, and a seat opening switch. Chetak also now offers enhanced storage capacity, ensuring a more practical and convenient riding experience. A notable inclusion in the upgraded Chetak Premium is the latest 5-inch TFT display, adding to its array of features.
Purchasers of the Chetak Premium who choose the TecPac will enjoy an array of extra features, including turn-by-turn navigation, on-screen music management, call notifications, hill hold control, reverse mode, and the ability to customize the display theme. Bajaj has included an 800W charger as part of the Premium variant, enabling the Chetak to achieve a range of 15.6 km within just 30 minutes. Bajaj Auto has ensured that the Chetak is not just a means of transportation but a tech-savvy companion for the modern rider.
Bajaj Auto has refreshed its range of electric two-wheelers with the introduction of the 2024 Chetak Premium and Urbane models. In India, the Premium variant is available for Rs. 1.1 Lakhs, while the Urbane variant is priced at Rs. 1.35 Lakhs. While the Bajaj Chetak Premium Electric Scooter is gearing up for its debut in Nepal soon, the launch details and pricing for the Urbane variants in the Nepalese market are yet to be finalized. It will be available in three colour options - Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, and Hazelnut.
