Yamaha Motor is all set to launch the new hybrid scooter Ray ZR 125 in Nepal. MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha bikes and scooters in Nepal, is set to introduce the new scooter RayZR 125 Fi-Hybrid in the Nepalese market by the end of 2023. The new Hybrid scooter is a combination of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine. This hybrid technology ensures that the bike is more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly, making it the perfect choice for people who are conscious about the environment. It also comes with new graphics that feel a bit more premium and sporty than the previous model. It is a powerful hybrid scooter designed for riders who demand both style and performance.
The design of the Standard Ray ZR and the Hybrid Ray ZR is almost identical, with no significant changes made to the overall appearance of the two models. It is equipped with Yamaha’s Bluetooth-enabled Yamaha Motorcycle Connect-X App. The Scooter Connect-X app has features like answer back, battery voltage, parking record, e-lock, locating your bike, riding history, and so on. Similarly, the Y-Connect app offers features like call and SMS alerts, battery level of the connected mobile phone, malfunction notification, rev dashboard, fuel consumption, maintenance notification, and so on.
As mentioned earlier, the Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Hybrid comes equipped with a hybrid system that combines an electric motor and an internal combustion engine. This not only makes the bike more fuel-efficient but also reduces emissions, making it an eco-friendly option. It is designed to offer a comfortable ride, thanks to its telescopic front suspension and rear monoshock. The bike also comes with a long seat that ensures a comfortable ride for both the rider and the pillion. It also comes with advanced safety features such as disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear including a Unified Braking System.
The Yamaha RayZR comes with the same engine as the previous model. This 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected, blue-core engine offers 8.2 hp power at 6,500 rpm and 10.3 Nm peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox that ensures smooth and effortless gear shifts. It comes with features such as a multi-function key with a seat opener, power assist indicator, LED Headlights with aggressive styling updates, and LED position lamps. The scooter also receives 21-litre under-seat storage. It also gets metal plates, coloured wheel stripes, brush guards, and block pattern tires.
Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi-Hybrid price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 3.00 Lakh. It comes in five different colours: Cyan, Red, Black, Blue, and Matte Blue. This new scooter is a perfect combination of style, performance, and eco-friendliness. With its hybrid technology, sporty design, and advanced safety features it will surely hit the Nepalese market.
