Citroen, the French automobile manufacturer, is all set to launch its much-awaited SUV, the Citroen C3 in Nepal. Shangrila Motors, the authorized distributor of Citroen vehicles in Nepal will introduce its second SUV for the Nepalese market in the coming days. With bookings are set to open in the coming weeks while the deliveries for the new SUV will commence shortly and additionally be available across all Citroen showrooms in Nepal. The Citroen C3 is a compact SUV that is designed to offer a perfect blend of style, comfort, and performance.
Under the hood, the Citroen C3 is powered by two 1.2-litre Puretech petrol engines. The first one comes with a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor that generates a max power of 81 bhp and a max torque of 115 Nm while mated to a five-speed manual gearbox while the second one comes with the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates a max power of 108 bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque while being mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. As for fuel efficiency, the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor offers 19.8 kmpl, while the turbo petrol option offers 19.4 kmpl.
The exterior of the car is sleek and stylish, with a bold front grille, LED headlights, and muscular lines that give it a distinctive look. It comes equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4 speakers, a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, three USB sockets, a 12V socket, and a smartphone clamp. It also gets a matte-black front grille, glossy-black ORVMs, halogen headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels, fender-mounted turn indicators, roof antenna, and dual-tone shade as optional. The other standout feature of the Citroen C3 is its spacious and well-designed interior.
The new SUV is also equipped with a range of advanced safety features. It comes with electronic stability control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. It is also ensured by dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS, and ESP making it a safe and secure choice for Nepalese buyers. It is also equipped with a heads-up display, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. The car's suspension system provides a comfortable and stable ride, while the car's advanced handling technologies help to improve overall handling and stability.
The Citroen C3 price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 40 - NRs. 50 Lakhs. The SUV will be available in a range of vibrant colour options, including Polar White, Cumulus Grey, and Tijuca Blue.
