Build Your Dreams (BYD) Co. Ltd. is all set to launch a new electric SUV Atto 3 in Nepal. Cimex, the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, is ready to commence the bookings for the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV in the coming days. The Atto 3 is a rebadged Yuan Plus electric crossover manufactured by China EV giant BYD. According to the company, Atto 3 is one of the most anticipated upcoming electric cars in Nepal. 

The Atto 3 comes with two battery options featuring the brand’s patented Blade Battery Technology. The 49.92 kWh battery offers a range of 320 km, while the 60.48 kWh battery pack offers a range of 420 km (WLTP cycle). Atto 3 is powered by a 150kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that can generate a max power of 204 PS and a max torque of 310 Nm. The company claims a 0-100kph time of just 7.3 seconds for this SUV that weighs between 1,680-1,750kg.

The Atto 3 looks futuristic in terms of design with its dual-tone dashboard and touchscreen infotainment system. It is equipped with LED headlamps, 18-inch alloys, a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, a digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen, an electric tailgate, and ambient lighting. It also comes with safety features including seven airbags, ESP, hill descent control, a 360-degree camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Atto 3 will come with all the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features of the international models.

Once launched in Nepal, BYD Atto 3 will be available in two variants: Standard and Extended Range. The BYD Atto 3 price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 50 lakhs. BYD Atto 3 is available in 3 different colors - Surf Blue, Ski White, and Boulder Grey while the extended range is set to be offered in metallic red as well.
