By launching this sporty, high-performance 150 cc bike, Bajaj is aiming to grab more market share in the 150 cc segment of the country market that is already a tough space. Bajaj Pulsar NS150 will come carrying a stylish and crafted looking sharp headlamp, while the instrument cluster will get a fully digital display. There will be a sculpted-looking muscular fuel tank adding zing to the model.
The rider seat comes with a low positioning that ensures a comfortable riding experience, while this ergonomic design also makes sure a great control over the machine. A narrow tail section is there with a stepped up and split pillion seat, while the split grab rails give it sportiness. A sharp and compact taillight adds further style. Bajaj Pulsar NS150 runs on sporty black alloy wheels and the bike’s exhaust is positioned at the bottom. This clearly gives the bike a lean look.
Bajaj Pulsar NS150 gets power from the same engine as the Bajaj Pulsar 150. This 149 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine is well capable of churning out 15 bhp of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 12 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.Transmission duty is done by a 5-speed gearbox. For braking duty, the Bajaj Pulsar NS150 would get a 240 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake. Suspension duty will be done by telescopic front forks and monoshock absorber at the back.
Upon launch, the all-new Bajaj NS150 will throw tough challenge to the Suzuki Gixxer. Also, it would make dent on the sales figure of the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar NS160 as well.
