Bajaj Auto has officially announced the launch of the new Platina 110 ABS model. According to various reports, the bike is all set to launch in the Nepalese market by next month. The new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS bike is the only bike in its class at the moment to offer an anti-lock braking system. This new Platina 110 is based on the Platina 110 H-Gear and comes with single-channel ABS technology which is paired with a 240 mm front disc brake. Recently Bajaj Auto also launched the Platina 100 ES Electric Start model.

The Bajaj Platina 110 continues to use the same engine and gearbox assembly as its predecessor. The bike is powered by a 115.45cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that produces peak output figures of 8.6hp at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The motorbike is mated to a five-speed transmission. The 2021 Platina 110 ABS is offered in three colour options - charcoal black, volcanic red, and beach blue. As mentioned earlier, Bajaj Platina 110 is equipped with a single-channel ABS and comes with a 240mm disc up front and a 110mm drum at the rear.

Bajaj has stripped the Platina 110 with a couple of features. The new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS includes quilted seats, a Nitrox spring-on-spring suspension as well as tubeless tyres for better ride and comfort. The updated motorcycle also comes with LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, new mirrors, and handguards for added protection. According to the company, the digi-analog cluster from the Platina 110 H-Gear has been replaced with a fully analog, twin-pod cluster. The rest of the bike has remained practically the same.

The new Platina 110 has begun reaching Bajaj dealerships across the certain Asian market. According to the company, the bike will be launched in Nepal by next month. Once launched in Nepal, the new Platina 110 with ABS will cost a couple of thousand rupees more than its predecessor. According to Bajaj Auto, the new Platina 110 ABS offers unmatched safety by offering riders complete control over unforeseen braking scenarios. So, offering ABS technology with a 110 cc motorcycle is certainly a welcome addition for the segment.
