Bajaj Auto is all set to launch its new motorbike Pulsar N160 in Nepal. HH Bajaj, the authorized distributor of Bajaj bikes in Nepal, is currently taking bookings for both N160 and N250. The official launch date for the new Bajaj Pulsar N160 is yet to be revealed. Pulsar N160 is built on the same new platform as the Pulsar 250 which was launched in October last year. Its design bears a lot of similarities with the N250. According to the company, the new Pulsar N160 packs an exciting proposition that is built to deliver the perfect street riding experience.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 is powered by a 164.82 cc, oil-cooled, Twin Spark BS6 DTS-i FI engine that generates a 15.7 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 14.65 Nm of peak torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It is available with both single-channel and dual-channel ABS. However, dual-channel ABS will only be available in the Nepalese market. The dual-channel ABS variant gets a 300 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 comes with features such as USB mobile charging, gear position indicator, distance to fuel empty readout, twin vertical LED tail lamps, Y-shaped alloy wheels, split grab rails, and a projector headlight with LED DRLs as well. The indicators are bulbs, whereas the taillight is LED. Its body panels, trapezoidal rearview mirrors, seat design, swingarm, grab rails and taillamp are similar to the Pulsar N250. It also comes with the new fuel tank that now gets longer extensions.

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 price in Nepal is NRs. 3.79 lakhs. It is available in the Dual-Channel ABS variant only. The dual-channel ABS version is only available with the Brooklyn Black paint scheme. Once launched in Nepal, it will compete against the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V3.0, Suzuki Gixxer, and Honda X-Blade.
