The Wuling Cortez MPV is all set to make its debut in Nepal. EV Nepal Motors, the authorized distributor of Wuling vehicles in Nepal, have announced that the Wuling Cortez MPV bookings are now open in Nepal. Wuling Nepal has recently entered the Nepali market with their first offering, the Wuling Air EV, which is an electric hatchback but their new product Wuling Cortez is not an electric vehicle, but rather a petrol-powered MPV. It is said to be available in two variants including CE and EX. This versatile and spacious vehicle is perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable ride. The Wuling Cortez is powered by a 1.5L, 4-cylinder, EURO4-compliant, DVVT, turbocharged petrol engine that generates a max power of 142 PS at 5200rpm and a max torque of 250 Nm at 1600-3600rpm. As for the power distribution to the front wheels, this Wuling MPV relies on Continuous Variable Transmission. The vehicle is expected to deliver good fuel efficiency, which will be a big selling point in Nepal, where fuel prices are high. The suspension duties are handled by MacPherson Strut at the front and a semi-independent setup at the rear.
