Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the Hero XPulse 200T. The 200T also has finally been updated to meet BS6 emission norms. The updated bike has been slightly increased in price and only gets the necessary updates to meet the latest emission rules. However, no further changes were made to the design or features of the BS6 XPulse 200T according to the company. The 2021 XPulse 200T is part of the Hero XPulse 200 bike range which is also set to be launched in the Nepalese market by next month.
The BS6 2021 XPulse 200T is powered by a 199.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine which makes 17.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 16.15 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The BS4 version of the same engine used to make 18.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It retains the same 5-speed transmission as before. The XPulse 200T is equipped with the same 17-inch wheels, and has a ground clearance of 177 mm, with a kerb weight of around 154 kg. This motorbike comes with a disc brake on both ends and a single-channel ABS as standard.
Other details on BS6 XPulse 200T, like styling and features remains the same as to its previous model. The XPulse 200T also gets a LED headlight, LCD digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. The 2021 XPulse 200T will be available in three colours, Sports Red, Panther Black and Matte Shield Gold. The price of Hero XPulse 200T starts at NRs 3.32 lakhs in Nepal and the updated BS6 2021 200T price is yet to be revealed for the Nepalese market. It competes against the likes of Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise and the BS6 Suzuki Intruder.
