Geely has officially launched its all-electric dual-cab pickup truck, the Riddara R6 in Nepal. The electric vehicle market in Nepal is witnessing a significant transformation, and the recent official launch of the Riddara RD6 Electric Pickup Truck marks a pivotal moment in this green revolution. This highly anticipated vehicle brings together rugged durability, cutting-edge technology, and eco-friendly performance. 


The Riddara RD6 comes with an impressive electric powertrain. The truck offers a substantial driving range on a single charge. It is an electric pickup truck constructed on a monocoque platform, equipped with a rear-mounted single motor that generates 200 kW of power and 384 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a 63 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 377 km according to the NEDC standard. It takes about 9.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100% with a 7.2 kW AC charger, or 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% with fast charging.


Riddara has packed the RD6 with a host of advanced features that enhance both the driving experience and safety. In terms of safety, it features full LED lighting, leather-wrapped seats, and a dynamic 72-color ambient lighting system. The centre console is equipped with dual 12.3-inch screens and a 9-inch full-colour head-up display. 

For enhanced safety, it includes four airbags, side curtain airbags, automatic emergency braking, collision alerts, and pedestrian protection.


The pickup's dimensions are 5260 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1865 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3120 mm. The RD6 has a ground clearance of 220 mm, accommodates up to 5 passengers, and has a kerb weight of 2,065 kg. It offers impressive storage options, featuring a truck bed with a capacity of 1,200 litres, 70 litres of luggage space, and a secure storage compartment of 48 litres. It can reach a maximum speed of 185 km/h. The tyre dimensions are 225/55R17.


The Riddara RD6 price in Nepal is NRs. 65 Lakhs. The launch of the Riddara RD6 Electric Pickup Truck in Nepal marks a significant milestone.
