With this addition, Nissan aims to expand its footprint in the compact SUV market, offering an alternative to competitors in the segment.
To support its ambitious sales goals, Nissan will manufacture both models locally at its Chennai plant. The company has set a target of 100,000 annual sales and exports, reinforcing India as a key production and export hub.
Nissan has also confirmed that the new C-SUV will be exported globally, leveraging India's cost-effective manufacturing capabilities.
Nissan’s official distributor in Nepal, Pioneer Motocorp, has confirmed that the seven-seater MPV and upcoming C-SUV will be introduced to the Nepalese market as well.
This means car buyers in Nepal can expect a new range of premium, feature-packed Nissan vehicles soon.
Nissan is clearly going all in on the Indian and Nepalese markets, betting big on SUVs and MPVs. With a strong production base, aggressive product launches, and growing demand, this move could help Nissan reclaim a stronger position in these markets.
