Accelerate the Hulaki Road project
Expand national highway networks to improve logistics and mobility
His remarks confirmed that the government views the auto industry as a national priority.
NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya emphasized the association's efforts to:
Advocate for long-term policy support
Promote the automotive sector’s 4.7% contribution to employment
Urge the government to build a larger, purpose-built exhibition center
The current venue, though buzzing with activity, lacks the space for Nepal’s growing automotive ambitions.
Every day, attendees participate in:
Industry panels with thought leaders
Interactive discussions on EV tech, charging, and policy
Workshops on vehicle maintenance and trends
This focus on education and discussion transforms the event into more than a product showcase—it’s an evolving knowledge hub.
The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 isn’t just a one-off event — it’s a preview of the road ahead. With more EVs, smarter transport, and stronger public-private cooperation, Nepal’s mobility transformation is underway.
More EV charging infrastructure
Revisions to EV tax and import policies
Interest in local EV assembly and R&D
Growing urban mobility innovations and apps
Nepal is no longer just catching up, it’s driving forward.
With a successful expo, strong brand interest, and government support, Nepal is on the fast track to becoming a key player in the South Asian EV and mobility space.
The future is electric, local, and on the move.
