MV Agusta is known for its run of limited-edition motorcycles based on products that are quite exclusive to begin with. We’ve seen the company make 300 units of the Superveloce 800 Serie Oro and 144 units of the Brutale 800 RR LH44, but this blue and white Brutale 1000 RR ML has taken exclusivity to the next level  – it comes with a unique limited-run plaque that reads 1 of 1. The company hasn’t revealed what ML in its name stands for.

While the company hasn’t added this ultra special-edition Brutale 1000 RR to its website, it did reveal a few details on its Facebook page. MV Agusta has said that “the ML is an exclusive bike which all started from the base of a Brutale 1000 RR and a vision. Our senior designer drew inspiration from various models built in the past using the blue and white color scheme such as the Brutale 910R Italia, which was a commemorative model produced to celebrate the Italian national football team winning the 2006 World Cup, additionally also from the Brutale 800 Italia of 2013 and the various versions of the Brutale America. The frame and swingarm plates came in a matte gold finishing as well as the forged aluminum rims with black inserts.”

Other than the colour scheme, the oval-shaped headlamp, large tank and tiny tail with the integrated LED light, remain the same as the standard bike; as do the aero fins next to the radiator. A second generation, high-resolution, 5.0-inch colour TFT display serves as the interface to toggle through a vast menu and alter the Brutale’s 8-level traction control system and rider modes. The electronics are also IMU-assisted.

Since this unique bike is based on the standard Brutale 1000 RR, one can expect similar numbers. At 208hp, the bike's output is identical to that of the new Ducati Streetfighter V4’s engine, making both of them the most powerful production naked motorcycles in the business.

When MV Agusta revealed the Brutale 1000 RR in November 2019, it said that the internals of the 998cc four-cylinder engine were tweaked, adding new valve guides and camshafts. MV Agusta also claims that the Brutale 1000 RR will sprint to a top speed of 300kph. The special-edition bike also appears to be equipped with the same Ohlins suspension and Brembo Stylema brakes as its mass production counterpart.
