Pioneer Motors, the authorized distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal, has introduced its most cost-effective electric vehicle MG Comet in Nepal. It comes in two distinct options: the Pace variant and the Play variant. Both variants come equipped with the same motor and battery capacity, but they differ when it comes to several premium features. The MG Comet EV is a masterpiece of modern engineering and innovation that is equipped with impressive features, stunning design, and eco-friendly credentials. It is a compact two-door hatchback designed to comfortably seat up to four passengers.
The MG Comet EV rises to the occasion with its impressive range and performance. It is powered by a 31.26 kW PMSM electric motor that generates a max power of 42PS and a max torque of 110Nm. It comes with a 17.3 kWh battery pack sourced from Tata AutoComp, offering an ARAI-certified range of 230 kilometres. When using a 3.3 kW AC charger, it can achieve a full charge in just 7 hours. The battery boasts IP67 certification for resistance against water and dust. The vehicle boasts a maximum speed of 100 kilometres per hour and provides three distinct driving modes: Eco, Standard, and Sport. It boasts a dual-projector LED headlamp system that provides exceptional lighting, along with an extended LED strip serving as the Daytime Running Lights (DLR) that runs seamlessly to the outer rearview mirrors (ORVMs). At the rear, you'll find a striking dual LED taillamp setup adorned with a lengthy LED strip featuring the unmistakable MG emblem. It features a central MG logo that lights up, accompanied by an extended LED light bar spanning the entire width above it. This illuminated emblem also doubles as the vehicle's charging port. It also gets a boxy styling with sculpted cuts and creases.

MG Nepal offers an extensive warranty package for their electric vehicles, including an 8-year or 120,000-kilometer warranty on the battery, a 3-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty on high-voltage components, and a 1-year warranty on the vehicle itself.
