Bigger, wider, sharper new generation Seltos
Fully redesigned cabin with richer materials and dual 12.3 inch displays
Stronger road presence with new lighting and 18 inch alloys
Same trusted petrol, turbo petrol and diesel engines
Expected price from ₹11.2 lakh at launch in January 2026
Improved rear seat space and 447 litre boot
The outgoing Seltos earned its fame for clean lines and a sporty profile. The 2026 Seltos goes for a bolder and boxier attitude that immediately feels more confident. The upright nose, the larger and more sculpted grille and the vertical LED DRLs give it a grown up look that stands out in traffic.
The headlamps use a fresh ice cube LED layout. The bumper edges feel chunkier and more squared. The side profile gets flush door handles and new 18 inch alloy wheels that sharpen the stance. The cladding also looks tighter and more premium.
The rear gets the biggest glow up. A full width LED bar ties the tail together. The taillamps are new and more expressive and the tailgate design feels cleaner. The new proportions make the Seltos sit visually wider and more planted.
The new platform brings extra length and width. The cabin benefits the most. Rear passengers get noticeably better knee room and shoulder room. The longer wheelbase improves ride stability. Boot space grows to 447 litres which makes weekend hauls easier.
| Dimension | New Seltos 2026 | Old Seltos | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Length | 4460 mm | 4365 mm | +95 mm |
| Width | 1830 mm | 1800 mm | +30 mm |
| Height | 1635 mm | 1645 mm | -10 mm |
| Wheelbase | 2690 mm | 2610 mm | +80 mm |
| Boot space | 447 L | 433 L | +14 L |
The 10 mm drop in height is irrelevant in daily use. The new cabin still feels airy thanks to the updated layout and large glass area.
The interior takes the biggest leap forward. The dashboard is wider, cleaner and finished with soft touch surfaces. The new three spoke steering wheel looks crisp. The horizontal AC vents stretch the cabin visually and feel more modern.
The star attraction is the dual 12.3 inch connected display setup. It blends the infotainment screen and instrument cluster into one sweeping panel. The layout makes the cabin feel more tech focused without overwhelming the driver.
The seats get a fresh leatherette treatment with quilting. The bolstering feels richer and long distance comfort improves. Rear seat recline is better. Add the panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents and sunshades and the experience feels more premium than the earlier model.
The feature list carries over the strengths of the outgoing model and adds smart improvements.

The extra space and fresh design help the new Seltos stand strong in this crowd.
The new Kia Seltos 2026 feels more polished, more modern and more spacious. It is the better choice for buyers who want a future ready SUV with a commanding presence and a tech rich cabin.
The outgoing Seltos still offers great value especially with year end discounts. It shares the same engines and most of the features. If budget matters more than the fresh design and added space the older model is still a smart choice.
