Honda has officially unveiled its first high-performance electric motorcycle, the WN7, at the EICMA 2025 Motor Show in Milan.
Designed to deliver the power of a 600cc petrol bike, the WN7 combines performance, innovation, and a bold minimalist design. It comes equipped with a 9.3 kWh battery, 50 kW motor, and a 140 km range on a full charge. The WN7 represents Honda’s next leap toward electrified two-wheel mobility.

Honda WN7 Electric Power and Performance

The WN7 is powered by a water-cooled electric motor that produces 50 kW of power and 100 Nm of torque, placing it in the same performance class as mid-range 600cc sportbikes. The instant torque delivery provides smooth, rapid acceleration and a dynamic riding feel that appeals to both enthusiasts and everyday riders.

Weighing 217 kilograms, the bike achieves a solid balance between agility and road grip. Its performance aligns with Honda’s “Fun Segment” philosophy, offering a sporty, responsive, and enjoyable ride without emissions.

Long Range and Fast Charging Battery System

Honda has equipped the WN7 with a 9.3 kWh fixed lithium-ion battery supporting CCS2 fast charging. Riders can recharge the battery from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes, minimizing downtime between rides.

On a full charge, the WN7 can travel up to 140 kilometers, making it suitable for both city commutes and short touring rides. Its advanced cooling system ensures consistent performance even during extended high-speed runs.

Naked Minimalist Design for Modern Riders

The Honda WN7 design follows a minimalist and naked aesthetic, emphasizing simplicity and functionality. It features sharp body lines, an exposed frame, and a futuristic stance that reflects electric innovation.

Riders can choose from three premium colors – Copper Accent, Matte Black, and Grey. Each shade highlights the bike’s muscular character while maintaining a refined and modern look.

Modern Features and Rider Technology

Honda has integrated smart technology and high-end components to enhance comfort, safety, and usability. Key features include:

  • 5-inch full-color TFT display with rider-friendly interface

  • All-LED lighting system for improved visibility

  • USD front forks and rear monoshock suspension for smoother handling

  • Dual front disc and single rear disc brakes for superior control

  • Push start/stop button inspired by car systems for added convenience

These features make the WN7 not just powerful, but also practical for everyday use.

Built in Japan for a Global Market

Production of the Honda WN7 Electric Motorcycle will take place at the Kumamoto Plant in Japan, a facility known for precision and quality. Honda plans to expand sales to international markets gradually, aligning with its long-term electrification goals.

The WN7 will serve as a benchmark for Honda’s electric two-wheeler lineup, setting a new standard for performance and innovation.

Honda’s Vision for Electric Mobility

The launch of the WN7 demonstrates Honda’s commitment to a sustainable and performance-driven future. By combining traditional riding excitement with advanced electric technology, Honda is proving that electric motorcycles can be both thrilling and efficient.

The Honda WN7 is more than just an electric bike—it’s the next step in redefining how riders experience speed, power, and design in an electric world.

In summary, the Honda WN7 Electric Motorcycle offers 600cc-level performance, a 140 km range, rapid charging, and a futuristic naked design. It’s a bold move that positions Honda at the forefront of the electric two-wheeler revolution.
