Honda, the iconic brand known for its innovation and reliability, has officially launched the all-new Honda SP125 in Nepal. Syakar Trading Company, the authorized distributor of Honda bikes in Nepal, has launched the SP125 motorcycle in two different variants Drum and Disc. This latest addition to the Honda family promises to redefine the riding experience with its blend of cutting-edge technology, impressive performance, and unmistakable style. The SP125 also ensures a smooth and responsive ride. 


The Honda SP125 delivers a punchy performance that is sure to excite riders of all levels. It is powered by a 123.94cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates a max power of 10.8 bhp and 10.9 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The suspension setup consists of front telescopic forks and rear hydraulic shock absorbers. It boasts sleek 18-inch black alloy wheels paired with a choice of either a 240 mm front disc brake or a 130 mm rear drum brake. It comes standard with 130 mm drum brakes on both ends, enhanced with a Combi-Brake System (CBS).


Beyond its impressive performance, the Honda SP125 is a sight to behold, with its sleek and contemporary design. It comes equipped with a single-pod headlight, an LED headlight, a body-coloured headlight cowl and front fender, stylish shrouds for the fuel tank, a body-coloured pillion grab-rail, an engine start/stop switch and a side-slung exhaust featuring a chrome heat shield. It also features a cutting-edge fully digital instrument panel, offering real-time updates on fuel efficiency. It provides details on fuel economy such as real-time and average figures, and distance-to-empty, alongside an eco indicator and gear position indicator for enhanced riding experience.


In terms of dimensions, the Honda SP125 boasts a length of 2020 mm, a width of 715 mm, and a height of 1103 mm, with a wheelbase measuring approximately 1285 mm. The saddle height stands at 790 mm, complemented by a ground clearance of 160 mm. The bike maintains a kerb weight of 116 kg. It boasts a generous fuel tank capacity of 11.2 litres, accompanied by an impressive mileage of approximately 65.00 kilometres per litre. It is equipped with tubeless tyres, featuring an 80/100-18 M/C 47P front tyre and a 100/80-18 M/C 53P rear tyre. 


The Honda SP125 price in Nepal is NRs. 2.78 Lakhs for the drum variant while the disc variant is priced at NRs. 2.88 Lakhs. The Honda SP125 offers a diverse range of colour options, including Heavy Grey Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Black, Pearl Siren Blue, Imperial Red Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.  It faces stiff competition from popular rivals like the Honda Shine, TVS Raider, Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon, and Hero Glamour Xtec in the Nepalese market. With its unmatched performance, stylish design, advanced technology, and eco-friendly credentials, this bike sets a new standard for excellence in its class.
