Although the precise launch date has not been confirmed yet. With its powerful engine, advanced features, and comfortable ergonomics, this new addition to Honda's lineup is expected to make waves in the competitive adventure touring segment.
The forthcoming Honda NX200 is anticipated to share a striking resemblance with its older counterpart, the CB500X, in design. Drawing inspiration from the Hornet 2.0, the bike is likely to adopt the same chassis and engine, ensuring a familiar and reliable performance. It is powered by an 184.4cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 17 bhp at 8500 rpm and 15.9 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm similar to the Hornet 2.0. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
In terms of safety features, the Honda NX200 comes equipped with dual disc brakes both at the front and rear, along with single-channel ABS for added braking confidence. The suspension system is handled by inverted forks at the front and a rear mono-shock with preload adjustment. The Honda NX200 will feature golden-colored front forks, similar to those found on the Hornet 2.0. Additionally, it will boast high ground clearance, a suspension system that can handle rough terrain, and a tall seat height.
The NX200's design is inspired by the CB500X, featuring all-LED lighting and a sleek V-shaped headlamp similar to the Hornet 2.0. It sports a black windscreen, a robust faired body, a wider handlebar, and protective features like engine guards and knuckle guards with built-in turn signals. Additionally, the bike offers modern amenities such as an assist and slipper clutch, a digital display, navigation support via Bluetooth headphones and more. Additionally, it comes equipped with durable tires, a protective skid plate, and handguards for added safety.
The NX200 boasts sleek dimensions, measuring 2035 mm in length, 843 mm in width, and 1248 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1355 mm. Its ground clearance stands at a comfortable 167 mm, while the saddle height is set at 810 mm, ensuring a commanding yet accessible riding position. Despite its sturdy build, the bike maintains a manageable kerb weight of 147 kg. With a generous fuel capacity of 12 litres, it promises a satisfying range for your adventures, delivering an impressive mileage of approximately 30-35 kmpl.
The Honda NX200 price in Nepal is NRs 4.79 Lakhs. With its rugged design, powerful engine, and versatile capabilities, this bike is ready to take on any terrain you throw at it. Whether you're cruising down the highway, tackling off-road trails, or navigating city streets, the NX200 is up to the challenge.
