Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the updated version of Splendor Plus in Nepal with a revised price. CG Motors, the recently designated official distributor of Hero motorcycles in Nepal, presents the Hero Splendor Plus available at Hero showrooms throughout the country. As one of the most beloved motorcycles in Nepal, the Splendor Plus has long been a favourite among riders for its reliability, efficiency, and affordability. Now, with this refreshed version hitting the streets, there's even more to love about this legendary bike.

At the heart of the Hero Splendor Plus lies a robust engine that delivers performance with power. It is powered by a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, OHC engine with APDV technology that generates a max power of 8.36PS at 8000 rpm and a max torque of 8.05 Nm at 5000 rpm. Hero Motocorp introduced Advanced Pro-Series Digital Variable Ignition (APDV) technology, which digitally regulates ignition timing to optimize fuel combustion. This engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It comes with a standard drum braking system.

In addition to the upgraded engine, the new version of the Splendor Plus boasts enhanced aesthetics and design elements. In terms of its features, the Hero Splendor Plus is equipped with a halogen headlamp and bulb side indicators, along with a bulb taillamp featuring a multi-reflector treatment. It is equipped with the same old BS4 engine and i3s technology to further improve fuel efficiency. Additionally, it comes equipped with an analogue speedometer that offers vital information such as fuel levels, speed readings, and other essential details.

The Hero Splendor Plus boasts dimensions of 1970mm in length, 720mm in width, and 1040mm in height, with a wheelbase measuring 1230mm. Offering a ground clearance of 159mm, this motorcycle maintains a kerb weight of 109 Kg. The seat height stands at 785 mm. The tire dimensions for both the front and rear of the Hero Splendor Plus are 80/100-18. The maximum speed remains at 87 kilometres per hour, while the fuel tank has a capacity of 11 litres, providing a mileage of approximately 75 to 80 kilometres per litre.

The suspension system of the Hero Splendor Plus includes telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a swing arm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. Moreover, the Splendor Plus features i3s Technology, enhancing its fuel efficiency even further. This innovative technology automatically activates a hibernation mode for the engine when the rider comes to a stop, restarting it seamlessly when the clutch is engaged. It comes with a dual-drum braking system with convenient power start and stylish alloy wheels.

The Hero Splendor Plus price in Nepal is NRs. 2.07 Lakhs. The Hero Splendor Plus offers a single variant with four distinct colour options. These include Candy Blazing Red, Black with Purple Silver, Black with Purple, and Hi Granite Blue. With its blend of classic design and modern performance, it continues to captivate riders young and old, forging new memories on the open road.
