In partnership with Gogoro Inc., a global pioneer in battery-swapping ecosystems for sustainable urban transportation, Nebula Energy has launched an exclusive range of Gogoro products, including the Pulse and Jego scooters in Nepal. Additionally, they have revealed plans to set up 45 battery-swapping stations throughout the Kathmandu Valley. After a successful soft launch with two swap stations and partnerships with Foodmandu and Jum Jum, Gogoro is now set to begin scooter sales.

Nebula Energy offers battery-swapping services to select B2B partners using their GX250 models. They plan to open their first Gogoro showroom in Naraynchaur, Naxal, by mid-September. After the showroom opens, customers can test-ride the scooters, pre-book them at a special introductory price, and receive their smart scooters after Dashain.

To ensure convenience, Nebula is committed to setting up 45 battery-swapping stations before starting sales. These stations will be located every 2-3 kilometres in places like petrol stations, marts, and malls. A key feature of Gogoro smartscooters is the battery subscription plan, which allows users to access all swap stations without buying a battery. In the long run, Nebula Energy aims to have more battery-swapping stations than petrol stations in Nepal.

Gogoro Pulse:

The Gogoro Pulse is a cutting-edge electric scooter known for its outstanding performance. With a sleek aerodynamic design, a powerful 9kW powertrain, adaptive lighting, and a high-definition touch display, it stands out in the electric scooter market. Powered by the HyperDrive system, the Pulse features a new H1 motor, advanced traction control, and a dual-cooling mechanism. It delivers impressive performance stats, accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.05 seconds, generating 9.0 kW of power, reaching 11,000 RPM, and producing 378 Nm of torque at the rear wheel.

Gogoro Jego:

The Gogoro Jego is a standout in the electric scooter market, featuring a sleek new design and advanced innovations from Gogoro. It offers dual battery options for increased speed and longer range. The Jego also comes with an extended comfortable seat, a spacious trunk, and a lightweight build, making it both easy to manoeuvre and walkable. From students to working professionals, these scooters are ideal for anyone looking to embrace electric mobility.

Gogoro GX250:

The Gogoro CrossOver GX250, made in India, features a newly redesigned all-terrain frame that enhances both rigidity and comfort. This advanced frame design increases the durability of the suspension system, supports heavier loads, and offers better comfort and stability. It also provides various options for storage, riding, and customization. With cloud-based features and mobile app integration, riders can easily check battery life, track location, and access scooter diagnostics in real-time.

As Nepal continues its push toward cleaner and greener transportation solutions, Gogoro and Nebula Energy's partnership couldn't come at a better time. The introduction of these three Smartscooters and the innovative battery-swapping technology is expected to significantly reduce the country’s carbon footprint while addressing the increasing demand for electric mobility. By offering a blend of smart technology, convenience, and environmental responsibility, this partnership is set to transform how Kathmandu's residents commute.
