Revving Up Excitement: CFMoto 250SR Officially Launched in Nepal

CFMoto, the renowned Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, has officially launched its latest sensation, the CFMoto 250SR in Nepal. Reliance Group, the official distributor of CFMoto motorcycles in Nepal, has unveiled the much-awaited fully-faired CFMoto 250 SR alongside the 2024 editions of the 250NK and 450NK in the Nepalese market. CFMoto Nepal has re-entered the market by introducing three new editions. With its aggressive styling and aerodynamic contours, the 250SR is a head-turner from every angle.


The CFMoto 250SR embodies the perfect blend of style and performance. It is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC FI engine that generates a max power of 27.5 PS at 9750rpm and a max torque of 22 Nm at 7250rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It comes equipped with dual-disc brakes and a dual-channel ABS for enhanced braking performance. Suspension duties are managed by 37mm USD forks at the front and a central monoshock. The engine as a whole has undergone additional refinement compared to previous iterations.


Beyond impressive performance, the CFMoto 250SR comes loaded with a host of advanced features. In terms of features, it comes equipped with a comprehensive LED lighting setup, including a sharp LED headlight with dynamic daytime running lights (DRLs), LED side indicators, and an LED taillight. It also features a TFT colour display dashboard with customizable lighting options, providing various information. It also features a sculpted fuel tank, accompanied by golden USD forks, a divided seat arrangement, and an underbelly exhaust system.


The CFMoto 250SR boasts dimensions of 2010mm length, 750mm width, and 1080mm height, with a wheelbase of 1360mm. It offers a ground clearance of 135mm and has a kerb weight of 165kg. The seat height stands at 795 mm. The front tyre size is 110/70 - 17 inches, while the rear tyre size is 140/60 - 17 inches. Its fuel tank has a capacity of 12 litres and offers a mileage of 35 kilometres per litre. The maximum speed reaches 128 kilometres per hour. The upgraded engine now produces an additional 1.6PS of power compared to its previous output.


The price of the CFMoto 250SR in Nepal is NRs. 6.74 Lakhs. Previously, the 2021 SR250 was introduced with a price tag of NRs. 6.90 Lakhs, but the new introductory price has been reduced by NRs. 15,000. It is available only in a single variant with two colour options White and Black. Interested individuals can contact their nearest CFMoto showroom for further details.
