Bajaj Auto has officially launched the BS6 version of the Pulsar NS200 in Nepal. HH Bajaj, the authorized distributor of Bajaj bikes in Nepal, has introduced the Pulsar NS200 in the Nepalese market. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been an iconic offering in the Nepalese market for several years and has also now been received as a BS-VI upgrade. The new NS200 now comes with a more sporty and attractive look, stand-out design, decent features, good suspension, modern safety features, and decent mileage.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is powered by a single-cylinder 248.8 cc BS-VI engine that generates 24.5PS at 9750rpm and 18.7Nm at 8000rpm. Both these figures have gone up with the BS-VI upgrade. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It comes with the same unchanged fuel tank capacity that remains 12 liters. It also gets 300 and 230 mm front and rear discs respectively with single-channel ABS as standard. It gets a telescopic front fork and a Nitrox (gas-charged) monoshock at the rear.
The BS6 NS 200 gets aggressive streetfighter styling. It comes with a muscular mass-forward look, a halogen headlamp with pilot lamps, a semi-digital instrument cluster, an engine kill switch, a gear indicator, and a low oil indicator. The bike gets raised clip-on handlebars and split seats. It is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels that are wrapped with 100-section front and 130-section rear tubeless tires. The weight new NS200 has been increased by 2kg due to additional emission-restricting equipment.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 price in Nepal is NRs. 4 Lakhs, 4 thousand and 900 only. It now comes in four color options: Burnt Red, Metallic Pearl White, Pewter Grey, and Satin Blue. The NS 200 competes against the Honda Hornet 2.0, the TVS Apache 200, and the Suzuki Gixxer SF. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 offers good value for money in terms of the sporty design, sporty engine, and overall performance.
