German luxury carmaker Audi has officially launched the new electric compact SUV Q4 35 e-Tron in Nepal. The automotive world is witnessing a monumental shift as the Audi Q4 e-tron electric SUVs make their grand entry into the Nepalese market. Kaeros International, situated in Kathmandu, is set to be the exclusive importer of Audi electric vehicles in Nepal. This dealership has an existing affiliation with Tesla, further enhancing its automotive expertise. It comes in two distinct options: the Standard variant and the Sportback variant. This monumental launch marks a significant leap towards sustainable transportation in Nepal, combining luxury, innovation, and eco-friendliness in one sleek package.
Audi Q4 e-tron is powered by a Rear permanently excited synchronous motor that can generate a max power of 125 kW (170 PS) and torque of 310 Nm. Both the Q4 35 e-tron and the Q4 35 e-tron Sportback are equipped with a 55 kWh Lithium-ion battery. One of the standout features of this remarkable vehicle is its remarkable range, which can extend up to an astonishing 349 kilometres on a single full charge. It can be fully charged in 7.5 hours via the AC (240V) while it can be recharged using a DC charging method that allows it to achieve a 5-80% charge within a mere 36 minutes. Furthermore, the Audi Q4 e-tron is equipped with a maximum DC charging power of 150 kW. Both of these models are exclusively equipped with rear-wheel drive systems.
The Audi Q4 e-tron boasts dimensions that exude a sense of spaciousness and modernity. In the Sportback variant, the rear storage area has a capacity of 535 litres, which can be expanded to 1,460 litres. Both the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback 35 e-tron Sportback are equipped with wheels measuring 20 inches and 19 inches respectively. Both models have front tires with a width of 235mm and rear tires with a width of 255mm.
