German luxury carmaker Audi has officially launched the new electric compact SUV Q4 35 e-Tron in Nepal. The automotive world is witnessing a monumental shift as the Audi Q4 e-tron electric SUVs make their grand entry into the Nepalese market. Kaeros International, situated in Kathmandu, is set to be the exclusive importer of Audi electric vehicles in Nepal. This dealership has an existing affiliation with Tesla, further enhancing its automotive expertise. It comes in two distinct options: the Standard variant and the Sportback variant. This monumental launch marks a significant leap towards sustainable transportation in Nepal, combining luxury, innovation, and eco-friendliness in one sleek package.

Audi Q4 e-tron is powered by a Rear permanently excited synchronous motor that can generate a max power of 125 kW (170 PS) and torque of 310 Nm. Both the Q4 35 e-tron and the Q4 35 e-tron Sportback are equipped with a 55 kWh Lithium-ion battery. One of the standout features of this remarkable vehicle is its remarkable range, which can extend up to an astonishing 349 kilometres on a single full charge. It can be fully charged in 7.5 hours via the AC (240V) while it can be recharged using a DC charging method that allows it to achieve a 5-80% charge within a mere 36 minutes. Furthermore, the Audi Q4 e-tron is equipped with a maximum DC charging power of 150 kW. Both of these models are exclusively equipped with rear-wheel drive systems.

The Audi Q4 e-tron boasts dimensions that exude a sense of spaciousness and modernity. It boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 4588mm in length, 1865mm in width, and 1632mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2760mm. It offers a comfortable ground clearance of 180mm and has a kerb weight of 1890-2020 kg. Additionally, the Audi Q4 e-tron provides ample space with a 520-litre boot, which can be expanded to a generous 1490 litres when folded down at a ratio of 40:20:40. In the Sportback variant, the rear storage area has a capacity of 535 litres, which can be expanded to 1,460 litres. Both the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback 35 e-tron Sportback are equipped with wheels measuring 20 inches and 19 inches respectively. Both models have front tires with a width of 235mm and rear tires with a width of 255mm.

At the front, the Singleframe grille has evolved into a sophisticated octagonal design, a nod to Audi's electric lineup. Flanked by sleek LED headlights that seem to illuminate the path to the future. It is equipped with an 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Also, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard, it's your gateway to a world of infotainment, navigation, and vehicle settings. Step inside the Audi Q4 e-tron, and you'll find yourself in a sanctuary of modernity and luxury. It is equipped with a WiFi hotspot, wireless smartphone charging, an optional 14 speakers Meridian audio system, a voice-activated dual-zone front AC unit, and a leather seat trim.

The Audi Q4 e-tron Electric SUV stands as a pinnacle of safety with its advanced features. It offers several safety features including automated emergency braking, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist. It also gets remote parking assistance, vehicle stability management (VSM), electronic stability control (ESC), multiple airbags, collision mitigation (rear), aerial view camera system, and many more. It is equipped with both the hazard warning light switch and the Audi drive select buttons, along with the ESC stabilization control. Essential driver assistance systems are included as standard features. It also comes with a robust combination of airbags, and reinforced frame structures.  

The Audi Q4 35 e-tron price in Nepal starts at NRs 1.45 crore, whereas the Audi Q4 35 e-tron Sportback is priced at NRs 1.50 crore. The colour choices encompass Pebble Stone, Geyser Blue, Typhoon Grey, Floret Silver, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, Aurora Violet, and Glacier White. With its captivating design, state-of-the-art technology, exhilarating performance, and unwavering commitment to sustainability, it's a testament to Audi's vision for a greener, more stylish, and more connected Nepalese automobile future. In the Nepalese automotive market, the Audi Q4 35 e-tron and its counterpart, the Q4 35 e-tron Sportback, stand as strong contenders against competitors like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the forthcoming Kia EV6.
